OK, have a bit of an oddbal question regarding the "Volume Level" decrease in sound of Keyboard Clicks as in like I can barely hear them.

I have done a google search and it has turned up many others that have had the same weird thing occur with their iPhone on different versions of iOS.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem or is it random and a issue directly attributed to the iOS please.

Don't ask if I have performed the basic mundane troubleshooting things as the answer to that is yes and I am well versed in all areas of computer science but this is annoying because A: I am very hard of hearing so it's more than just a nuisance for me with this:p

Going to reinstall WINDERS..............Be back soon!
 
Unless you have it switched on in settings you can't change this with the rocker, go into settings>sounds>ringer and alerts the volume control there does the keyboard sounds if you then switch the 'change with buttons' to on you will be able to control with the volume rocker

Thanks for that but it is already on. This is some kind of random problem that does affect some people (not many) from what I see doing a google search on it. As a whole, everything is fine (Volume wise) on my iPhone 5 with the exception of the "KeyBoard Clicks" and when I actually press buttons to dial a Phone number they are real faint in sound as well.

Don't know what this jag is about but considering the other "Audible" sounds and functionalitiy of the phone seem to operate within normal parameters so, I can only ascertain that this is a iOS bug of some form.
 
I had the same on my 4S on 6.01.
Any sound related apps/tweaks installed e.g. Volumeboost, push tone, etc?

i mean the sound of the keyboard clicks aren't that loud in the first place. are you like 50%, 40%, 30% deaf? honest question. not an insult. I have some deaf and hard of hearing friends who use the iPhone and they have always complained about the volume level of the device and never being loud enough (obvi for the latter of the group since being 100% deaf you cant hear much at all)

About 40% deaf from working around loud construction equipment and machinery. The 156 Grateful Dead shows didn't help much either:D

haha, for sure, i work as a carpenter, metal worker, plumber and have a little hearing loss, only in the upper range. I mean honestly it sounds to me it may just be a user issue, My best recomendation would be to rip the audio clicks from the phone (if possible) enter a sound editing program, Raise or lower the pitch (depending on your hearing) also raise the standard Db level within the track, save the file and copy it to your phone, overwriting the original. If it truly is the phone, then i have NO clue as to why this would happen unless it was a hardware malfunction. It could be a bug, but im thinking that the chances of that are slim, but i dont know much ;). Good luck, keep browsing, and see if you can edit those system sounds!

You can edit sounds using really basic audio editing programs, you dont need any real audio software. In fact Itunes can raise the Db level of any audio track within the file!
 
Thanks for the reply back elipse;) I do computer work these days (past 8 years) so my recommendation to you is get out of the trades before it breaks your body/hearing down.

I spent almost 18 years in the trades and loved it but, there was a price to pay in the end.

Good point. I have something like 50-30% hearing loss (it varies by pitch), and I've never been able to hear the keyboard clicks on iOS devices unless I put on a headphone. Or feed the sound through big external speakers.

Im an ex-marketing major and now pursuing a career in organic farming, computers are becoming more a job now but i like it as my hobby :)
