I was attempting a vector drawing of myself when i realize m missing very crucial knowledge. When i started using live fill on my eyes I realized i could not separate the whites the iris and the pupil in to individual groups because they were open where they reached the top of the eye, so what i need to know is how to take one out line and then draw the iris inside it and make it a ful shape, then make the pupil inside that and make it a complete shape

I hope u understand my rambling, thanks

I'm not 100% sure I understand the question. But I'd put the main eye shape, iris and pupil all on separate layers rather than trying to make some sort of compound shape.

It might be a good idea to open some of the sample files you'll find inside Illy and see how they are constructed.

Also make all the shapes closed. Then if you want the iris to be cut off by the eye ouline you can put it on a layer below.

I see, thanks you got my question 99% answered, thats good enough for me:p
