... anyone else suffering? Any good fixes? I'm thinking it's something to do with Suitcase X1, which is a deeply stupid program along the lines of Quark 6 (in the stupidity stakes).

Other G5 owners' experiences?

illustrator was quitting allover the place on my iBook (and i don't have suitcase). Are you running it with the latest patches and fixes? They fixed my prob

yep - 10.0.3.

tried deleting my prefs, too.

two things: my pantone swatches aren't anywhere to be found (grr), and i can't get my palette arrangements to stick (double ggrrr; I've got 23 inches of screen space here, and it takes me half an hour to set up each time illustrator unexpectedly quits. grr grr).

I also have the pantone problem in Illus. 10.
I thought it had to do with the last OS X update (10.2.8),because the were displaying fine untill I updated. But I just upgraded to Panther and they're still not displaying!!!!!! I posted a thread about the problem. But I never got a response.
