Sup all,

I'm about to purchase a font for Mac Illustrator. I am also running bootcamp, and also have Illustrator in Windows

So I was wondering if I purchase the font for Mac Illustrator, will I be able to place the same font to work for Windows Illustrator also?

Or will I have to purchase the font for both Mac & Windows?

Thanks

Best to buy an OpenType (OTF) version (preferred) or a PC TrueType (TT) font if you're using Illustrator CS2 or upwards. These will work in both versions and platforms.

What version of OS X and Windows are you using?

Yea, Illustrator is CS3 for both.

So if I purchase an OTF file that works for both Mac & Windows, I can upload the font onto both Mac & Windows Illustrator?

That was an option that I was considering, but I thought that I wouldn't be able to upload the font onto Illustrator.

Thanks for the quick answer.
