Hey guys, I just wanted to do a little self-promotion (I feel no shame). I'm 15, about to be a junior, and I just released my first iPhone/iTouch app! It's called SongSender, and it lets you make playlists from your iPod library, and send them through email, sms, or post them to Twitter or Facebook! It's available on the App Store now! Thanks for reading my outrageous self-promotion! Check it out: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/songsender/id385229328?mt=8
I appreciate it!

It's because it's an http site, and iOS devices are trying to open it into the app store. If your on your iPhone, iPad, etc., this link should suffice: itms://itunes.apple.com/us/app/songsender/id385229328?mt=8

Looks useful - but call me a miserable sod, but why do you have to emphasis you are only 15..?

You even say that in your application information on iTunes.

It's hard to make your app stand out in such a large market... there are not that many developers my age with apps out there on the market.

But why is age important?

You almost make it sound like an excuse if your application was rubbish - well a 15 year old developed it, so let's be nice? Not saying your application is rubbish, but you catch my drift..?

I understand. I haven't heard that point of view. I appreciate the constructive criticism!

Great icon! Can you explain the App better? Wouldn't DRM prevent sharing of music...are you just sending an ASCII file of playlists?

Please get rid of that GOD AWFUL orange screen. I expect 1.0.1 with traditional iOS colors in the store this week.

Your totally wrong. If you go to the iPhone Dev SDK Forum there are about 200 members that are 12-18. And by the way, age doesn't matter one bit. It isn't going to make you stand out. What makes you stand out is having a great app where there is a market for it.

It's a playlist sender/poster... You're sending/posting a list, not the actual songs.

Edit: I'm working on having new backgrounds, maybe in 1.0.1!

Noted.

Re-edit:
this app was exactly what i've been looking for...thanks!
You're welcome!
