... of a white MacBook.

I'm uber-excited about it arriving. Today is my 18th birthday, and I graduate from high-school next week. The MacBook was a joint gift from my family. I've been drooling over Macs for the past several several months, and when the MacBooks were released, the drooling only got worse. My dad surprised me by ordering the MacBook yesterday. Should be arriving June 1st.

The specs are as follows:
-2.0 GHZ DualCore
-1 GB of RAM (2x512)
-80 GB hard drive
-plus the Superdrive

I'm pretty confident that it will be powerful enough to handle what I'll be using it for - minor photo stuff, light gaming (when i say light, i mean it), blogging, a little bit of music recording, internet, and school.

In retrospect, I realize that I didn't necessarily need to start a new thread to announce this, but I'm pretty darn excited. It's my first Mac, and I'm pretty sure that it won't be my last :D

Anyone have any advice for a new Mac owner?

Congratulations! I've only been a mac owner for just over half a year, and, I know what you mean. I won't be switching back to Windows for a long time now ;)

Wow. Thank you all so very much for your comments. If there are any more nuggets of advice floating around, send them my way :)

Thanks muchly!
