Hi All. I just got the new iPad Pro and I can’t figure out what I need to buy to connect it to my MacBook. My MacBook is older and has what I believe to be USB-A. I can’t find anything that will connect my iPad directly to my MacBook. I thought I need a usb-c to usb-a adapter but can’t seem to find one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Obviously they would. You can bet your last dollar Belkin will give to Apple an amount for each sale.
Personally, the one I quoted is cheaper and does the job just as well. :)
You posted a link to Amazon UK, but OP is in California.

I've seen the Belkin cable on Best Buy in the past for around $10 less than it is on the Apple Store. The Anker cable isn't much less on Amazon in the US than the Belkin was on Best Buy last time I checked..

But I buy Anker products more often than Belkin to be honest.

No problem.... All the OP needs do is look on Amazon.com. Should have no problem finding the Anker cable, especially as the company is American. :)

Snap....Never had one fail on me period.
I purchased that cable I mentioned.
Comes in a nice box to protect during delivery and Ankers no quibble warranty.

Yeah I’ve never had an issue with them. I always run new cables through my tester to check voltages and so on. Never had an Anker one out of spec.

Interestingly enough neither the part number or ASIN numbers give an exact hit on Amazon.us. Tried multiple searches and the USB 3.1 version seems not to be available from Amazon U.S.

PanAm-L1011 – I'm not sure why you're aiming to connect it, but note that if you're trying to sync it to iTunes, that's also supported wirelessly. If that's all you're after, you can sync with no cable and charge using the included cable and power adapter.

That is weird but you are right..... I couldnt find it either!
Weird that Anker are a US company who ship to the UK. So why on earth is this cable not available directly in the US.
Maybe a call to the company to ask could be the answer?

Interesting. Don't have it. What I get is:

Having used this Cable I can tell you it is superb.
Speeds are lightning fast, so much so when I transferred 300 songs from iTunes to the iPad Pro using this cable I was mesmerised at how quick the transfer bar in iTunes moved.
Hope you guys find a US supplier.
