I have owned a lot of macs, since the ibook to the 16" touchbar, passing by aluminium, unibody, retina MBP, white and aluminium imacs, and cMP and trashcan.
Sold the cMP 5.1 4 years ago, since then, only laptops.
Last year, I was forced to buid a cMP like hackintosh for work, and yesterday, I found a brand new old stock cMP 5.1, in the original box, even with the instruction book, and the stickers! it smell like new!
10.8 system first boot! amazing! 32gb RAM, single w3565.
Quickly I installed High Sierra, the hackintosh RX580 8gb, the X5670, then Mojave, Opencore and Catalina.
No problems at all, even I got Hardware acceleration, so smooth!
