IMO

This line is the ultimate giveaway sign of someone who's either too young/rich/spoilt/shallow to appreciate what any flagship phone offers.

But what's most disappointing is when once respected YouTube content providers sink to using this line, as their integrity instantly plummets in my eyes.

You're bored? No, you're not making the most of the device & wasting money on something that was intended for people who know how to make proper use of the thing.

I think this might be the new norm.

New phones, especially iPhones were exciting when they were breaking new ground, but the there has not been any huge improvements with phones lately imo. Plus, the differences between the phone brands are a lot less apparent compared to how they were 5+ years ago.

So, people want to be amazed, impressed, and blown away at every phone launch, similar to the way a heroin addict is always chasing that first high, only to be let down by updates that seem mediocre when compared to past announcements.
