Hello, I have heard about iPhone unlocking.
I don't know anything about it at all. Could I buy a iPhone on contract and then just swap sim cards or something? What would happen to the contract? Is there some way of making it stop?
Please help me. I'm confused and want an iPhone badly but don't want to pay the monthly fees. Also the PAYG iPhone is a bit too expensive for me also.

By the way, I'm in the UK :)

If you know some people it is possible for them to get you an iPhone without a contract. And at some point you do get your hands on your phone here is a tutorial

What carrier are you planning on using cause buying an AT@T plan and not using it would be such a waste. And do you mean an unlock or jailbreak?

2 ways:

1. Buy it on ebay.
2. Buy the pay as you go version.

If you're planning to use an O2 sim card then you don't need to unlock it, as any O2 sim works.

You can't buy it on contract then cancel the contract unless you pay for the remainder of the contract.

Hope I helped.

Also make sure you're current contract that you intend to use with the iPhone includes data or you'll be running up some expensive bills.
