I Have Weather bug Elite and Weather Chanel but I have never been happy with either. Tonight I was searching Reviews and ran across some post about Weather Underground which is a web site! I added the web page to my phone and it acts just like a app asking location etc. and the information is much better then any of the apps I found! Check out add http://i.wund.com too you Iphone and for your regular computers http://www.wunderground.com/ might be from the makers of wunderRadio since there are adds for it all over. but I love this site!

So what are you getting for being the weather underground cheerleader?

whats with the slight hostility? he is just sharing the wealth so to speak.

if he finds it better then he would want to share with others, im sure you would do the same.

to the op i might try it later but i have alwyas like the WeatherEye app seems to do great for me

You can't delete ALL of your weather apps :p

I still like TWC 2.0.1

Weather Underground is a very good weather site. I had good luck with it in some hurricanes a few years ago.

I've been using Weather Underground for years and I've found them to be much more accurate than the local three ring weather circus. Their desktop site is nice, also.

I also have always liked Weather Underground. Very useful and easy.

Here's a trick about the animated weather radar, btw:

There are three view zoom levels. If you turn on animated map in one, then flip to a different view level, you have to turn animation off and back on again, to get animation again.

yes I can I just can't delete Apples Weather App which is fine but Why have apps I don't need or use even if I paid for them. of course I can restore them if I decide too but for now I rather have the extra space.

lets see getting what i want lol just sharing. wow I guess I should have made another post about MMS or Verizon or the next Iphone!

Been using i.wund.com since the day they released it. They've had mobile phone versions of their website out there since before the iPhone was released.

If you get a Weather Underground membership ($5/year), all the ads go away both on their standard website version, as well as the iPhone version.

I've bought close to $30 in weather apps just trying them all out to find one I like. I keep coming back to just using the i.wund.com website, and then using Weather Radar for even more detailed radar maps if I need.

To make getting various locations' forecasts easy, I setup a bookmark folder with all the individual locations as bookmarks. Very quick and easy, YMMV.

All I need is a weather app with the wind direction, wind speed and temp.

It seems most of the free weather apps almost always leave out the wind speed, the #1 thing I care about.

hehe, I'm just pulling your leg and poking fun at the fact that we can't easily hide/remove the default apps.

can the site be changed to celcius ?

Yes. In the main part of the page, under your city's name and next to the local time time click "Set My Timezone". Then change the "Units" to "metric" :)

I've bought MyWeather,Pocket Weather World,,Weather Pro,Weather Bug Elite,WxFix and Accuweather(free) and find myself using Weather Underground's web app most often. Most forecasts for me are coming 10 miles away at Logan Airport ,WBE &WxFix are local like WU but the WU weather station is only 2 blocks away and also 3 or 4 more within a mile of me.

well never mind

Admins you can close this thread cause it's not needed and we need more threads about Verizon cause 9 on the 1st page aren't enough! latter all!

congradulations to the OP for deleting apps.

oh wait, why is this special?

He's promoting his fondness for a weather website. What's the big deal? People post reviews and opinions ALL THE TIME. Really, the reaction from this community is pretty sad at times.

LOL, I have to agree with you though. I have the Weatherbug Elite app and I don't even use it. I've gone back to the regular weather app for quick looks of the weather and use Weather Underground for important weather info or if I'm doing anything outdoors.

I've been starting to look at some of my apps and looking to weed out the apps I don't need.
