I purchased BOTH at full price (Beejive for $15 and IM+ for $10, thanks for whoever gave me that iTunes giftcard, lol). Me personally, I prefer IM+, I just like the UI better on the iPhone, like that it can stay logged in for 3 days (push technology), just like the way it looks, and it takes care of all of my IM needs (talking to all of my friends on AIM, Yahoo and Facebook). I never liked Beejive. I deleted it because I wasn't using it, but I know millions of people love it. IM+ for $1.99 is a no brainer, really, you can't lose. And Beejive for $10 is a good deal if you don't mind the price. My suggestion, try IM+ for $2, if you like or love it, you don't need to spend the $10 on Beejive.

At that price differential you might as well give IM+ a shot. I use and love BeeJive, but IM+ has plenty of devoted users as well. It will more than likely meet your needs.

I have used BeejiveIM for over a year, and I love it. That's one app that's definitely worth the investment. I believe I originally paid something like $14 or so for it. It's worth the investment and there is nothing I expect it to do that it can't.

ive used im+ and never looked back.

after a bit of tweeking it looks like the sms app on iphone.

I keep myself logged into MSN, AIM and facebook chat, and works a charm.

Ive got Trillian and i have really enjoy it and how it syncs with the desktop client. There are a lot of plans for it to make it even better. Might check it out.

I dont think you need to think much here. Just get IM+ for $2 it's a steal!!!

Its a bit slow opening but the 3.6 update in review right now claims to speed things up. (i hope) Its not bad but does not open nearly as fast as beejive. I actually like both, but i have been using IM+ currently because it has email notifications and allows you to set notifications to let you know when a selected contact appears online.

They are both pretty good, a while back i would have said beejive is king but IM+ has come closer to being a great app, it just needs speed.

Beejive used to be worth the price (and I don't regret buying it), but now there are almost-as-good apps for free or much cheaper.
Of course, it's been almost two years!

I brought the IM+ for 1.99 and the RDP+ for 1.99 worth 20$ as well. SHAPEServices is giving cool offers for this valentines I guess. BTW, 1.99 for IM+ is perfectly alright.

It just miss one stuff, group chat. Hope they brings it up in the next version update.

Does IM+ keep you logged in when you exit the app? I know Beejive does that and that's what makes it very useful to me when i'm attempting to multitask.

I bought Beejive right around the time it first came out for the very expensive $14 but its never let me down. If IM+ is really as competent for that price that's pretty sweet. But i already have Beejive so i won't convert.

Yes it does! For up to 3 days!

However before splashing out try "Meebo" it's pretty new in the app store and seems to work quite well it's free, offers push notifications and you can use twitter and other IM apps

3.6 is out. Its back to $4.99

Most of the new features are pretty good, but i have to say i'm getting a little tired of the slow opening. I have to test it a bit more but so far its still about 15-20 seconds to open the chat from a push notification.

Beejive and now Meebo open much faster. I could probably open and reply back faster in meebo then in the time it takes to open IM+

While i still like IM+ I would like to see an way for you to open(view) from a push notification and have it open in a few seconds to that chat. Maybe once that specific chat is open and your replying, it then can load the rest of your contacts.

I just got Beejive IM for $6.99. I was sick of that Facebook add on through AIM so I was looking for another instant messenger and found this on sale. Definitely happy I picked this up!
