I opened a Citizen One account for an Xbox Series X a few years ago. If you have an open account then there's NO need to reapply if you are making a new purchase. However if you are opening a new account, that message means they want you to call them. They will probably ask you a series of questions to verify you are the person opening the account and responsible for paying off the loan.

I would look up Citizens One number independently and give them a call. They may just want to verify identity. I would not use links or phone numbers directly from the message just in case it’s a scam email.

Are they always going to ask me this because I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max I only returned one and repurchased and then I’m trying to upgrade my mom‘s 14 Pro Max and I get the message but when I upgrade mine next year are they gonna give me the same issue?

Any time you take a loan out (or several loans out) the lender may want to verify information like identity, income, residence etc. Just wait until Monday and give a call. Not sure if you or Mom set up the loan, but they may be questioning a second iPhone loan under one individual.

It’s under a family plan so I Handle everything and they did an escalation but no one will review it till Monday at the most.

The phone sells out quickly.

No - I think they probably want to verify your identity :) Maybe running multiple inquiries raised a flag, and they want to make sure it's you doing the purchasing.

I called them no update there escalating that will take 4 days to review to get approval and Equifax says the credit is OK.

Some one from that department should call me

Seems like I won’t be getting another phone by the end of the week

Sorry to hear that. I had issues with them as well. Applied right before the pre-order. I was approved. Went to Apple's site on launch day, tried completing my order and it errored out. Tried 3 more times still got errors. A few hours later after I finally thought my purchase was successful, I got an email from them stating my application wasn't approved. Cancelled that order, finally went with ATT only to get another email a few hours later stating I was approved. Very frustrating day. After I called them to find out what the issue was (probably applied to many times) , I decided to cancel my account with them.
