I'm having this problem on Chrome

You probably installed an extension that changed your home page. See

Additionally, you might want to run Malwarebytes to see if there's any malware on your Mac.

I just tried Malwarebytes but it didn't catch anything.
The page appears randomly (not when I create a new tab) so I don't think it's a home page issue.
Before this error I think I had an error from Capitalone extension where it would create a new tab. So when I deleted that extension this error started happening.

You can try in order, checking at every step if the problem is solved, to install the extension again, use Repair extension, turn it off and finally remove it.

I would just save my bookmarks and delete ~/Library/Application Support/Google
