So I have over 4gb of available iCloud storage but my iPhone 6 Plus is saying I am unable to back my phone up. Any suggestions? I want to be able to update to iOS 9.01 but I want to back my device up first. Any help?

Could you back up your phone to one of your MBPs? Also, what exactly is it saying when it's saying that you can't back up the phone (ie: not enough space)?

I haven't tried backing it up to my Mac, however it is saying it can't back my phone up because there is not enough iCloud storage available.
However in Settings it says I have 5.0 GB available of 5.0 GB on iCloud which is why I'm confused.

Well, clearly the backup needs more than 5GB of storage. My backups on my 128GB phone are 55GB and I just don't bother with iCloud anymore.

Use your computer and iTunes. It'll be much faster.

Sounds good, thanks for the reply! I ended up updating to 9.01 anyway without a hitch!
