Last I looked at my phone and there was a number "1" in the red bubble on the cydia icon. I clicked and it told me I had 6 update changes in my apps or files. I went ahead and did the updated changes. Shortly after the updating was done, wifi was picking up the connection, but no wifi speeds nor the symbol on the top. I restarted the phone and that didn't help. The icon symbol appeared briefly for a few seconds, then turned off. I have the iPhone 3g for tmobile. I jb with quickpwn 2.2. Could the update changes cause my wifi to not work anymore? In this case, what can I do? Thanks

I don't think Cydia updates will affect your WiFi settings. But if you just jailbroke it and restored your settings from backup, your WiFi will pick up but if it was encrypted, they keys need to be re-entered. Did you try re-entering your keys or Forgetting the Network and readding?

Hey

I lost you when you said "restored settings from backup" where would I do that from? Also, what keys need to be reentered? Where? Sorry if I'm being difficult. Just trying to learn. Thanks
