I've heard a lot of bad things about MobileMe, so I took the trial just to be sure it was good enough for me. What can I say? What the hell is everyone complaining about? It's great.

It's fast, it's fully integrated with OS X and I'll never have to worry about transferring my data from one computer to another again.

MobileMe is pretty good actually. However a bunch of people are complaining because you can get the same services with free alternatives like Gmail, Dropbox, Google Calendar...

I'm a huge fan of it too. I love that fact that all my computers stay in sync and I don't have to set anything up, I'm lazy. My only gripe is that the upload to the iDisk is a bit slow, but if you use Transmit it makes it a bit more bearable.

Just remember that when you come to upgrade from the trial account don't go throwing you money too quick at Apple. If you pop to EBay you'll find that you can always pick up a deal. I have a Family Pack and I usually pay around $60 for it a year.

Previously there are many shortcomings for Mobileme, like No support for subscribed calendars. But now it has been proved a just perfect and all-round tool.

I love it and use it every day with 3 Macs, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV (family MM galleries). It has slowly but surly gotten better and better...

MobileMe is a great concept but it's been plagued with reliability issues over the past two years. Specifically SMTP timeouts, iDisk Sync and Push notification reliability.
