I have an aging 20GB 3rd generation iPod. The capacity is getting a little small, and the battery lasts about 4 hours. Would it be possible to put a 80GB hard drive and a brand new battery in it? I know the battery is possible, but what about the hard drive? What's the largest capacity hard drive that I could put in there, and where could I get it?

Thanks.

Well, in my view, you'd better go for a 6G iPod 80G.I love the design of the 3G, the red backlight ,but it's really big compare to the 6G,and even with a brand new battery, its juice can't compete with the 6G. Why not leave the 3G for your home stereo device, and choose a 6G for daily use?
