here's what i did

What is the easiest way to jailbreak an iPhone with 1.1.3

i used ijailbreak. you need the right machine/os, otherwise i think you need to use ziphone.

when i initially ran ijailbreak, it seemed like it wasn't doing anything. i tapped the on/off button[top right] and it began the process. and completed it.
i've only installed a couple of apps after i got installer.app ...bsd subsystem i guess is the main one. [AppSupport patch, iflickr, voicenotes, ifob, openssh, 1.1.3 safari patch, tmobile carrier logo, sysinfo.]

if there is something there i don't need, someone could speak up, as well as something not installed...?

went to a t~mobile store yesterday. they gave me a sim card, no charge and set up my new account.

pretty simple. i think i assumed it was going to be more difficult than that, since the mind "thinks" that yer doing something "naughty"...relax it'll be fine...; ^)
