Alright, i need pretty much step by step how to jailbreak 1.1.4 with ziphone.

Iv'e had my iphone for about three months so it's already loaded up with songs contacts etc. I have at&t its already activated and my phone has never been jailbroken or hacked in any way.

I just have a couple of questions that i hope can be answered easily.

1. If i use the (jailbreak) option in ziphone will it erease all my songs contacts etc. ?

2. Do I need to restore my iphone before useing ziphone, or can i just plug it in, sync it then use ziphone?

3. If i jailbreak my iphone with ziphone and then want to update to the 2.0 in june how do i do it? If I plug my iphone in my computer and sync it will it brick it?

1. No, everything stays, but just to be sure, sync before doing ZiPhone.

2. Becuase your phone is unmodded, you should be able to just jailbreak from what you have now.

3. Just do a restore, and then it will ask if you want to upgrade too, and say yes.

thank you so much ....

The only thing I'm kinda still concerened about is pluging my jailbroken iPhone into my comp to sync photos and songs.. Will this brick It?

I heard now that iPlus is a better method then ZiPhone because it doesn't damage your bootloader and your warranty stays valid. Is this true and should we use iPlus instead?

Well all you are doing is jailbreaking, so you have nothing to do with the bootloader. Most likely they do the same thing to jailbreak, so its your call...

heres your step by step

  1. Open iTunes and sync the iphone so you have a backup
  2. with itunes open, open ziphone 2.5c
  3. click advanced features
  4. click recovery mode
  5. when the iphone is dectected by itunes close it down
  6. run ziphone again and click jailbreak
  7. wait about 32 seconds and then the iphone will restart
  8. remember that is something sayis its not for which ever version of the iphone firmware you happen to be running do not install it or you will have the little loading circle constantly spinning and will have to restore.
