so a family member helped me pick up a black macbook at the store but it was a week 22 model. the newest release is 25 (maybe even 26?). with the knowledge that apple does do silent fixes - upgrade in the white plastic for example - and with the hope that they have generally decreased the heat with every passing week, is it crazy for me to go back and ask for a week 25 one? i desperately want one that isn't hot hot hot.

1. It's not paranoia if they're really after you.

2. Use the MacBook, if it feels ridiculously hot, take it in for a consult.

I bought a black MacBook the 2nd day they were available. I haven't had any problems with mine except that it does at time get a little warm at times. Nothing unbearable though. I'd recommend one.
