Hello all.

Been in the iPhone eco system since the 3G.

I’ve not long finished a stint with my launch day iPhone X.
Then transitioned over to my wife’s cracked screen 11 that got replaced through insurance.
That screen and the back took the brunt a couple of weeks ago now, and I’ve been using a first gen SE for the past week. It’s crazy!

I’m now ready to upgrade to one of the 12 models.
I was never really into the rounded edge design. It slipped out of my fingers loads when picking up. So back to the flat edges again is welcomed from me.

First of all, I usually buy my phones out right (which I’m able to do again this time around).
However if you had the choice, what would you do?
IUP or monthly payments to own outright from Barclays?

I’m also torn between the mini and the 12 pro.
I like the smaller device format, but the lack of “tech” is what’s swaying me towards the Pro.
Is the mini made of a different material?
I haven’t read much about that.

Could I order the Pro, and the mini, then return the one I don’t want to keep?
Or are launch dates not gonna allow that to happen?

Either way, I’m looking forward to getting away from this temporary 1st gen SE that has terrible battery life!!

If you are in the U.S. and plan on keeping your phone for more than a year, consider the interest free monthly payment via your carrier. That way, you don’t have to worry about a credit pull that would occur with the iUP and all the stipulations and caveats that come from leasing.

I usually do keep my iPhone for 2-3 years though, but I've not been tied into a carrier contract for as long as I can remember. Don't think I'd go with that option to be honest...
