Im scare my new i7 has the yellow display illness, what do you think?

Hello, at the beginning I thought, OH great no yellow, then I saw the test, and some other ways, and I see some yellow at the bottom part... I dunno how yellow should it be, or shall I say shouldn't ?..

What do you think?

It's normal for iMac 27" displays to slightly yellow as you look down the screen. At full brightness the yellow should be almost unnoticeable.

I say stop worrying about it.

personally i cant see anything but then again pictures never can do it justice. if you cant notice it in day to to day things i say leave it but if it annoys you then by all means bring it back.

If you had to do this test to notice it (and I can't really see it with your iPhone photos), then I wouldn't worry about it. My iMac (even though it was within the 14-day return period) is in the shop right now getting just the screen replaced, but in my case it was annoyingly yellow towards the bottom on sites like msnbc.com or nytimes.com. If you don't see a problem in day-to-day tasks (as noted by others above), there is really no reason for concern. These LG IPS displays are still a new technology in progress, evidently.

Best if you make the screen a uniform gray and take your picture in a dark room, preferably using a long lens camera. As is these pictures are difficult to asses. Also if you could place them here?

I wouldn't say it is normal, but surely it is quite common...

it looks very good to me, i don't know how much is the variation in camera shot and actual screen you see with your eyes, one thing i have noticed is one has to move back a bit from screen and keep your eye level at same height of the grey bars when you watch top and bottom bars i.e move down when you look at bottom bars, that will give you true representation about your screen, one issue with all LCD screens is washed out colors with viewing angles, all black looks some kind of grey if one is not looking straight, even IPS technology LCDs suffers from this, plasmas do not have this issues at all, this why PLasmas are still king when it comes down to viewing angles as compared to LCDs.
