I know everyone always says "Steve would have never let this out the door" but my god what have they done? I'm sure if you're using a magic keyboard the issues aren't as bad but I have a macbook for that stuff, my ipad was used as a touch device.

Ignoring the fact they have killed the ipad for touch screen users How on earth did it get out the door in such a mess, the ui is all over the damn place, too many issues to even put into a post. To add injury to this my ipad pro is now a stuttering mess.

I've attached one example of one of MANY Ui abominations. There's no way this was tested, I just cannot believe of all company's Apple let this out in such a god awful mess.

I'm a touch user (don't have a Magic Keyboard) and I haven't had any issues.

I don't know what you're trying to point out here either. Are you thinking those two buttons do the same thing? They don't... The one on the left lets you compare your edited photo with the original; it doesn't save anything. The one on the right will revert it back to the original and save it.

Wow.... No wonder Apple has fallen so low.

How about trying to explain what it is you are trying to convey with your screenshot instead of insulting those taking an interest in your point of view?

Wondering if perhaps the perceived issue is the fact that they are so far apart. In my opinion that is how it should be as you do not want to save by mistake if what you actually wanted to do was to just compare edits with the original.

Looks like some posts were deleted/moderated in this thread. The OP did explain what the issue was. It's the menu bar overlapping with the buttons, which I agree is a bug.

I haven't encountered that issue myself though.

I don’t have a problem with the buttons and the status bar, as I’m only focusing on one of them at a time.

Counter-point: this is easily my favorite iPadOS update, and I've been using once since the iPad 3. I can do so much more than I've ever been able to do. The iPad has always been the computer I travel with - it's rare when I take a MacBook, and I never take one out of the country - and now I can be so much more productive. And I don't use an external keyboard at all (though I am thinking about getting one at some point.)
