Just got my new Apple TV and watched To The Arctic in HD.

The image is so sharp my eyeballs are bleeding

I'm not only impressed by the quality, but by the fact that I just streamed a 1080p video file from the internet with no buffering, stuttering, or wait time to start.

It was well played 4 sure :D

It looks like the hardware, firmware, software and CONTENT is really coming together. This is quite an ecosystem that Steve & Team Apple have put together.

Definitely what I thought this thread was going to be about :p

I'm glad to see people are happy with this. This will be my next purchase along with equipment to start ripping my blu ray collection

You seem to be doing better than me!! Right now, it took 15 minutes to "load" an mp4 movie from a HDD connected to my time capsule (next room and using "n"). It was a 2h 18m 720p mp4. I have some small (approx. 3m) mov files that played instantly, though.

And it told me that Netflix was not available right now. Even though I have an account.

But I do love the look and responsiveness. I am sure there will be these bugs to work out.
