from T-Mobile to ATT. I've loved the steadiness of the Blackberry push email.

Now I'm curious how easy it will be to sync my laptop with iPhone Mail. Is it seamless and to update as I go? If I send an email from my iPhone, will it update in Mail on my laptop?

Also, what is the best app for using the iPhone as a voice recorder? I want to be able to record some talks. Also, can it record phone conversations?

Thanks

You shouldn't need to "sync" it with your laptop, just setup Mail on your iPhone with your IMAP account and it will all happen automatically.

Is it seamless and to update as I go?

If you use IMAP, yes. It will not be push unless you use MobileMe or Yahoo Push mail. Otherwise you can set it to check every 15 minutes or more.

If you have an IMAP mail account and it is NOT POP3, yes. That's how IMAP works.

Recorder is excellent. It has high and low quality. The high quality is excellent.

No.

The only thing I love about the blackberry is an actual keypad and the instant push email. Other than that, it's nothing really special.

You'll love the iPhone. I switched over when the 3G came out and love every little bit of it. I don't think I could ever switch phones. If I do, I'm going to regret it and miss having internet and youtube at my fingertips.
