ive been trying to edit video from my Samsung camera. I got it transferred to my iPad Pro running iOS 13 .i can play the video on my iPad Pro. But when I try to edit it with iMovie I don’t see the movie file. What am I doing wrong

Where did you upload the video? I don’t use iMovie, but I just took a look myself. It appears iMovie looks for media stored in the Photos app. iMovie couldn’t see the raw video clips I saved to a folder I created on the iPad using the Files app. I would make sure your videos are in Photos.

I have no idea to even know where I uploaded video to. I’m so lost

The big hint is “what app did you use to view the video”?
If you’re NOT using the Photos app (if you’re using a transfer app or another 3rd party app, it may have stored the video in it’s own folder), you may need to transfer it to the photos app (default media location for iOS).

If you are using the Photos app, you should be able to go into the videos (Albums > Media Type > Videos).

From there, you can bring in the videos from iMovie.

You need a copy of the video for each app that you want to use it with in each apps respective folder.
