I'm wanting to upgrade the processor speed of my G4

Of my Ibook G4. I can't seem to find anything that is compatable with it though. I've only been able to use google, using things like Ibook G4 processor upgrades, because my knowlege of processors is extremly limited. I have a 1.2 Ghz now but I would like to get it to atleast 1.8 more preferably 2. Does anyone know of a site that would help me out?

It's not possible to upgrade the processor.

You could, however, replace the logicboard from that of a newer, faster model. The fastest 12" was 1.33ghz and the fastest 14" was 1.42ghz. Not something that's worth the time or money, IMO.

I don't think you'll have much luck but OtherWorld Computing sometimes has upgrades for laptop computers.
