I seem to be having a run of bad luck with my Apple computers & I very much hope someone can help solve my problem.

I have an Intel 17" Imac - Core Duo 2GHz, which is 15 months old (no Applecare). Without warning one day it would NOT turn on. After testing the power supply cord & power outlet I thought i would replace the power supply unit, which I had hear were sometimes to blame - bought new for £50 i have just installed it but my Imac will still NOT power on. The logic board is however now detecting power because when plugged in 1 green LED lights up & when you press the power button a second LED lights up.

Can anyone tell me if my problem might be the DC-DC board, which plugs into the power supply (what does it do??) - if it might be the problem I will willingly part with another £40 for a new one.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ALL YOUR SUGGESTIONS.:(
