Hi to all. I'm buying my first mac soon and it will be a iMac but I have a question. I want to use it for several things but one of them is gaming. I'm not a crazy gamer but I really like them. I don't think I need a 20" screen but since the 20" iMac has upgradaable vram I don't know if the 17" would be enough to run games. Please help me out! Thanks

Both iMacs are more than capable of playing games. If you want a little extra speed, than go with the 20" iMac (with upgraded VRAM).

Personally, I would go with the 20" iMac just because of the nice, spacious LCD. :)

20" screen is superior (contrast, brightness, viewing angle) to 17" as well...

IF you are open to a refurb, i think the 20" is a no brainer.
the price difference between the 17" and 20" is the smallest on refurbs.
i just the 20" refurb last thursday and couldnt be happier.
bigger better screen
larger hard drive
faster processor

note: you cant get the upgraded video card on a refurb unless you get one of the mythical *free* upgrades when it shows up. i didnt. :(
