Hey all I'm new to the site I recently bought an imac aluminum and it wont load past the gray spinning apple log screen and wont respond to keyboard responses such as boot to cd,terminal safe boot etc etc. Any ideas oh how to fix it i tried new ram as well. Any information would be greatly appreciated Thanks Kyle

If it doesn't react to trying to boot from a cd, I would guess that the motherboard has fried. I would suggest taking it to an Apple shop and having them take it in for diagnostics.
