I have an iMac 2.8GHz 24" (April 2008 version). Do I want the DDR2 PC2-5300 200-pin SODIMM or the DDR2 PC2-6400 200-pin SODIMM memory? Is there any difference?

Thanks in advance!

It will work but why are you considering it?

I'm not really considering it, I'm just trying to find out what type is ideal, and whether or not the 5300 ram would also work. The only reason is that Crucial lists the 6400 and 5300 for my iMac, and I found a good deal on the 5300. So if the 5300 works, I'll likely go with that. I just want to make sure its ok first though.

The 5300 works, just not as well as the 6400. (In terms of speed. Why chose a donkey when you can chose a horse?)
