Hello, yesterday i bought an iMac 20 C2D. Everything is nice, but I had to reset my user password twice becuase Mac OS was not recognizing it.

Im traveling this friday so I hope is only a software problem and not HW.

Any idea what could be happening?

Unless the Keyboard is mistyping I can guarantee you that it is not a Hardwhere Error.
You can try Repair the Permissions using the Disk Utility but I think you will be Prompted to Enter the Password, so that maybe no Good....

Since you got it Yesterday, just Boot of the the Tiger Disc and Reinstall the OS. Shouldn't take that long. :)
