iMac 2017 4k eGpu Trouble

I have a iMac 2017 4k, and i want to use the sonnet RX 560 eGFx Breakaway puck with it, but it doesn't recognize it.

Can you be more specific?
What version of macOS?
Is the Thunderbolt cable OK?
Does System Profiler‘s Thunderbolt section list anything?

It's running macOS 11.4, it was tested good useing a windows pc, no.
Update:
Has there been anyone who has had something similar happen to them? I've been doing research, I've never heard of anyone getting the same issue. I've updated the iMac to 11.6 to

Update: It’s not the eGpu itself, there’s been problems with USB type-C on 11 and 12
