Just wondering if any 5K iMac owners (2017 version) have experienced poor screen uniformity?

Mine isn't terrible, but I need to know what's acceptable before calling on Apple Care.

There is noticeable dimming in all four corners, and when moving white windows around the screen, there is noticeable clouding.

How's your screen? Am I being pedantic?

Little bump for this, although the lack of replies either means A) I've stumbled on something unique, or B) this really is a non-issue... :)

Thats typical of LCD technology. Only full array LED tv's are any good imo. The LG panels in the iMacs are particularly bad, just be thankful you don't have any image retention yet.

Thanks for the reply. Annoying, isn't it? I didn't realise the LG panels in iMacs were quite as bad as that.

It's the sort of stuff you can't 'un-see', unfortunately, although since I've spotted this, I've noticed that my 2017 MBP has some pretty crap clouding, too.

Image retention? Oh good.. something else to look forward to o_O
