having a few problems with my old imac, but this one is, i decided to remove the bootcamp partition using the bootcamp app. it did it, but instead of returning the 200 gb or so to the main 1tb mac hard drive, its just marked as untitled and unnaccessable.

i tried using disc utility, but it does nothing. tried techtool, told me there's no problems. restarted into internet recovery and decided i should just erase the drive and reinstall (no rush for it as its not my main machine now) but it just hangs on deleting. when i restart its all fine except this missing 200gb which still shows in disc utility as untitled.

You probably already did this, but...

After you booted into internet recovery
and
After you opened disk utility...

... did you go to the "view" menu and choose "show all devices"?
(so you could see the physical drive inside, on "the top line")

You need to erase the ENTIRE drive and start over.

If you'll tell us which version of the OS you want to install, perhaps someone will provide a link or two...
