iMac (2017) sharp edges

I was just at the shop looking at an iMac (thinking to get one for my wife) to upgrade her from her 2010 MBP. I was rather surprised at how sharp the edges feel when you go to pick it up. I didn't care for the feel of it but it is not a show stopper.

Any word on if the 2018 model will be getting chassis redesign?

Not sure how the edges would matter as it's not a laptop.

A redesigne is on the way, probably next year, but I wouldn't expect too much.

What Apple needs to look at is that better displays are far more adjustable, moving up/down, swivel, tilt and even rotating. My 27" Dell 4K monitor looks just as good, has a superior matte screen finish and is much more adjustable.
