I have just received my iMac2019, 1TbSSd, Vega 48 and have a couple of issues.
When I first updated to latest Mojave, it wouldn't even turn back on, but after a bout 3 hr it seems to boot itself and seems to be ok now. But it does take > 30 seconds to boot, is this normal for Mojave? My 2013 iMac using an 850evo on my BlackMagic dock would boot High Sierra in ~10 sec.
Now the issue I have is it takes ~2 minutes to wake from sleep if at all.
I think I have narrowed it down to the external monitor(s). When it does not wake if I unplug them, the iMac screen will wake.
Some times while waking it will ping pong between the monitors, one screen will light up for a second as the others go dark, then does this indefinitely.
My current connections are:
usbc1 -> TB3-->TB2 apple adapter --> BlackMagicUltraDock --> Acer XR382CQK
usbc2 --> Belkin USB-C to HDMI Adapter --> Samsung TV
wired keyboard
I have tried
Reset the SMC
Reset the NVRAM
Is there anything else I could try? Any logs to check for what is happening?
