iMac 2019 vertical line on screen

Well this stinks. Vertical pink/purple line popped up today. wont go away but at least it’s less noticeable after screen loads up. Tried resetting pram/smc--nothing. Any other tricks I may have overlooked?

Of course, just about a year out of warranty.

You must have regretted not buying Apple Care plus.
This is a hardware flaw.

Outrageous it would fail so easily. Had a ‘13 iMac that lasted years without a hiccup. This didnt even make it 2.
