Imac 2020 27 inch

Hi Guys

I am a newbie to apple and have bought a iMac.
I find the access to the ports on the back a pain so my question is is it safe to use a belkin thunderbolt 3 with the iMac ?
The whole talk of upload charging etc has me worried as it can charge a Mac book pro. Any advice greatly appreciated sorry if its a silly question.

That's an issue with M1 and some chargers/docks. The iMac will be fine.
