Hi,
today I had a strange issue with my 2020 iMac. The Mac was turned on, but with the screen itself turned off (caffeinate was running in the background). When hitting my keyboard or. my mouse, the screen was not switched on. I tried it several times and even switched the mouse off and on again.
I was able to log into the iMac via ssh and turn on screen sharing. When connecting to the Mac via screen sharing the monitor turned on immediately and the mouse and keyboard were working.
I never had this before with any of my Macs, but this is the first Mac I use a Bluetooth keyboard with. Might this be a bluetooth issue?
What I noticed since I own the Mac is, that it takes several seconds after pressing a key until it turns on. All other Macs turn on at once when hitting the keyboard. Maybe this is because of the Bluetooth Magic Keyboard.
Do you have any ideas, what might have caused the monitor issue?
