iMac 2022 Changing Plug from US to Irish

Hey all! I just brought my iMac (2022) from the US to Ireland. I also bought a new power connector but, like an idiot, left that at home!

I need to use the iMac tomorrow and there's no way to get a travel adapter kit or a new lead on time, so I going to change the plug.

I found this post on MacRumors and thought someone might be able to help me. I've stripped the old plug, exposed the wires but the wire combination is unlike anything I've ever seen. Wires are White; Grey; and Baby Blue. Wondering which is L; N; and E.

Pics attached. I took two because it's hard to capture the correct colors. White is obviously white but the grey looks black in some pics.

It's quite simple for a newbie:
Just buy a pre-cast cable and cut it out to see. the colors are normally standardized.

If you have the old plug look at which wire goes to which plug and wire accordingly. Wiring wrong risks damaging the iMac and crating a dangerous situation to so be absolutely positive you have it right.

Personally, I'd find a way to get the right cable rather than risk destroying the iMac or causing other problems.

@jlc1978 I had to cut the old plug off - US plugs don’t have screws to take apart, unlike UK or Irish plugs so I don’t know how they were connected. But appreciate the warning. It’s well made and spot on!

But ordered a new extension cable yesterday and it comes on Wednesday so, worst case scenario, I wait on that.

@jlc1978 I had to cut the old plug off - US plugs don’t have screws to take apart, unlike UK or Irish plugs so I don’t know how they were connected. But appreciate the warning. It’s well made and spot on!

If you can see the wires on the plug an ohmmeter can tell you what wire goes to what pin on the plug.

I have a bunch of US plugs with screws.
The color of the wires in your pic match perfectly to my picture.
Green => Ground
White => N
Dark => L
