imac 21 - 1TB fusion drive owners

Hi everybody, would like to know, real world 1TB fusion drive experience, is it ok? I used to have fusion drive with 128GB ssd part, and it was ok for me (actually, my experience did not differ form SSD based macbook), but as apple has cut SSD part to only 24 gigs, is it still ok, not?

any real experience from owners is welcome - planned usage of new imac will be BFU like stuff - web browsing, movie watching, iTunes, very light photo and video work (no big projects!), etc...

If possible, either get the 2tb fusion drive (probably a "build-to-order" option), or, get either a 256gb or 512gb SSD -- and add more external USB3 storage later on.

I returned the first 21" 1tb fusion drive. They did a terrible job with it. 28gb ssd and 5400 RPM drive. I upgraded to a 27" with 512 SSD. The 21" was slower than my 2015 13" macbook pro that I bought brand new in 2015 for 1100. I paid 1700 for the 2017 21". I really can't believe they even put a fusion drive in the new macs. They are TERRIBLE drives.

Priority in getting mac:

1) Hard Drive - Get SSD
2) Memory
3) CPU

Switch 2 & 3 if you are considering getting an 27". You can self upgrade your ram.

maybe I just asked wrong question... i dont want to discuss Fusion drive as such, I had one and it worked fine for me. what I want to find out, whether there is any significant real life difference between old fusion (128+1TB) and new one (24+1TB) - keep in mind usage described above.
