Given a 2019 iMac 21" (i5 hexacore 3.0ghz, radeon 560X) with an 1TB Fusiondrive, could i remove the HDD part, leave the 32GB native SSD and attach a SSUBX original part, as in THIS one (12+16 pin)?

Or do i have to remove also the existing 32GB SSD due to only one PCIe port available?

bump?

also, what would you choose, for the same price, between:

21.5" quadcore i3 3.6, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd, 555X
21.5" hexacore i5 3.0, 8gb ram, 1tb fusion, 560X

i'd take the hexacore and 560X since they're the only things NOT upgrade-able...
if i open it up to swap the fusion with a SSD, i might as well upgrade the RAM also..
