Hey guys!

Bought a new iMac 21.5" and understand that the "supported" RAM is 32GB max. I am wondering if any of you guys have this and upgraded past the 32GB? I know on my late 2013 iMac, I upgraded it from 16GB to 32GB even though I had to remove the logic board and swap out the new memory modules. I see they have 2x 32GB 2666MHz sticks from Crucial and was going to try it but wanted to see if anyone had experience with upgrading it?

Thanks for any help!

still says 32 GB. No word on whether they've actually tested this. Would you like to be the guinea pig?

OWC offers a 64 GB kit for the 2017 21.5 inch imac. So, promising, but my guess is that they haven't yet completed testing. This kit, of course, is slightly slower, being for an older machine than yours.

I will be ordering the 64GB kit from Crucial (although NewEgg has one too but from some weird company I've never heard of. I'm guessing it should work but I just wanted to see if there was anyone here that had successfully did it. I will be trying this in about 2 weeks.
