Houston, we have a problem!

Here we go,
iMac 21.5 A1418, there's a break in the hinge that supports the tilt mechanism.
This time it's not the usual issue, actually, one of the two supports that hold the hinge has completely come off the frame.

I'd like to repair the hinge, so I thought of 3 solutions:
1) find someone who can re-solder the plate onto the case, but that's also the hardest option
2) drill threaded holes in the frame and securely fix the plate.
3) try using metal bonding adhesives

I'm looking for advice and solutions, thanks for your time.

Interesting, never seen that happen before - personally if it were me I would likely attempt to smother enough super glue to enough surface area to try to reattach it

The components appear to be welded with a spot welder, like the ones used to weld the terminals of lithium batteries. Does anyone know how the stone was fixed? What type of welder was used? Thank you.

Guys, wish me good luck! ;) I used liquid steel, a two-component adhesive for metals, engines, steel structures, aluminum... I hope it works...

This is the first layer of glue. In 24 hours, I will apply a new layer to cover the edges of the hinge. If this strategy fails, I will switch to screws and bolts.
I am confident in this adhesive; in theory, not much force should be applied to the individual hinge, and the glue is specifically designed for areas exposed to stress and torsion. However, in case of failure, I am ready to change my mind.

Honestly I imagine it’ll work absolutely fine after that mate. I typically have used just plain old super glue in the past to re attach the odd screw mount back on the iMacs
