Imac 21.5" or MBP 15.4"

Hi all

Just brought a new 32GB ipad and decided this could really replace the need for my Unibody MBP 2.53

So i'm thinking of buying a 21.5" Imac with the ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics card

Question is


Whats the Imac speed like compared to the MBP ? My current CPU is 2.53 and the imac is 3.0. Also my MBP has a 9600GT 512mb, whats the speed of the HD4670 like ?

Good for a quick boot into windows 7 and the odd game maybe ? Not that I do much of that minda

I personally wouldn't upgrade to a baseline iMac, but that's just me. I tend to be conservative on upgrades-- only getting a new computer every 5-6 years.

I've got the 21.5 iMac and I really love it. I added a 2nd 22 inch monitor. I also have a MacBook Air and a 32gb 3G iPad. I'm going to sell my Air. I'm very happy with the iMac/iPad combo. Both are very fast tools. iMac runs bootcamp Win7 beautifully.
