Hi there, we purchased 64 gig Ram memory from OWC Digital to install on our iMac 21.5'' with Retina 4K Display and everything looks good, other than the last cable that won't go in smoothly into its place?

As we don't upgrade memory daily, we don't have much experience so we didn't want to push or press hard for it to go in.

Any of you with similar issues or suggestions/ideas how to fix this and make it work.

If you guys know anybody in Toronto, who specializes i memory upgrades on iMac 21.5'' with Retina 4K Display please let us know.. we could potentially get it to specialist to fix and make sure it's done properly.

I will attach some images to illustrate the cable location.

Thanks

PS: Previous iMac were much better installation wise. Not sure why is Apple making it difficult for customers to install and upgrade, since it is not a secrete that Apple is overpriced. Obviously, if all people could afford fully loaded Apple prices, I'm sure they will pay.

But for all of us, who can't afford to purchase full specs, Apple is not making it any easier to keep its customer base.

Wasn’t aware that you could upgrade ram on a Mac.

You actually can, it's just that the method is not straight forward like on the previous models.

In our case, everything is good but the last cable just won't go in.

So we are looking for some suggestions/experience.. so we can complete the process and seal the screen back.
