I have an iMac 24. Is there Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet software that I can
install? It would have to be on a CD. If yes, where can I purchase?

I found old Lotus software for a Mac on 3.5 diskettes.

Thanks.

Why does it have to be Lotus 1-2-3 and not some other spreadsheet software?

If it has to be, your only option would be to get Parallels or VMware Fusion, install DOS or Windows and run 1-2-3 from there. The Mac version of 1-2-3 was written for System 7, there is no chance of you running that on your 24" iMac

Download. Openoffice. It would be a newer and free alternative

I have LOTUS 1-2-3 on the Windows XP side of my iMac. My question is can I put it on the Apple side?

You suggest to download Office. I assume Office has a spread sheet program
other than LOTUS is this correct?

Thanks.

Here are some FREE Office Suites to try that include a spreadsheet:

I've tried neither; sure others can chime in. There is also Microsoft Office for the mac which you can try free for 30 days and includes the Excel spreadsheet application:

You can also download a 30 day trial of iWork - a Microsoft Office competitor from Apple. It includes a spreadsheet called Numbers:
