Imac 24 +Ati 4850 buying question

I am new for Mac today i just order imac24 2.93+ati 4850 and have some question

I found on Apr there are many comment that imac with ati 4850 is freeze with many situation and on may apple release firmware for fix it

Question is

1. Now problem definitely fix?
2. If I order today i have to update firmware or not or i already instore from apple factory before shipping
3. Now still anyone got freeze after download that firmware. If it still freeze how should i do?

the problem has been fixed since 10.5.8, there have been very little reports (if any) of the problem still occuring

the computer should already be updated to the latest firmware, so you dont have to worry about that.

It's fully working now, no freezes since FW update.
